LMB Player of the Week Named Monday, September 24th, 2007 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Sam Griggs was rewarded with the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Guadalajara Chupacabras right fielder hit .357 while collecting 10 hits in 28 at-bats, 5 home runs and 16 RBIs. This season Griggs is batting .264 with 21 home runs. |
