Delfines Win Tuesday, September 25th, 2007 The Carmen clinched a postseason berth today, officially capturing the division title. The Carmen Delfines' clubhouse was filled afterwards with jubilant teammates showering each other with champagne. Manager, Ismael Escalona, praised his club, saying, "We were underdogs from the beginning, but we pulled it off. I couldn't be more proud of this group of guys for getting it done. Now our goal is to bring a championship to Carmen!" Hopefully the team can get some sleep after what's sure to be a late night celebrating! |
