Leones Causey Gone for Year Thursday, September 27th, 2007 Joe Causey has to call it a season. The Yucatan Leones closer sustained a season-ending injury against the Carmen Delfines and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Causey was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 9-10 months. For the year Causey has made 35 relief appearances with 15 saves. He has also fashioned a 6-11 won-lost mark with a 3.34 ERA. In 113.1 innings he has fanned 88. |
