Tabasco Clinches Wild Card Saturday, September 29th, 2007 It was no easy task for the Tabasco Olmecas to capture a wild card spot, but the team's players can now breathe easy, knowing they will be a part of the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol postseason. "They made us work for it. There aren't many easy games in the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol," said reliever Gene Henegar. "We would have liked to have won our way into the playoffs sooner, but we'll take it." The team's record currently sits at 85-67 and they will be vying for the 1st Liga Mexicana de Beisbol championship in franchise history. |
