LMB's Top Hitter Announced Monday, October 1st, 2007 Sam Griggs is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Guadalajara right fielder joined that select company when the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol announced the results of September's voting. Griggs totaled 31 hits, 11 walks, 9 home runs, 25 RBIs and 18 runs scored last month to put together a .320 batting average and .385 on-base percentage. This season Griggs is batting .269 with 23 home runs. His totals include 74 RBIs and 72 runs scored. |
