Fromm Helps Roughnecks Beat Salamanders, 10-7
The Ahwatukee Roughnecks beat the Scottsdale Salamanders, 10-7, at Hohokam Park. The Roughnecks got a fine performance from shortstop Torry Fromm, who went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. John Selway nailed down the save. The win has Ahwatukee at 13-21.

With Ahwatukee leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Fromm hit a changeup from Adrián Elizondo for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Roughnecks ahead, 3-0.

"Whenever I help the team," said Fromm, "it sort of justifies my place on the roster."
