It was a parade of hits for Carmelo Marte of the Bullhead City Catfish at Scottsdale Stadium.

Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Marte finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Catfish to a win, 14-12.

"Marte was really good and we were really bad," groaned Blue Devils manager Elvis García. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
