|
Miramar Sun Dogs starter Neymar Castaneda hurled his team past the Florence Swordfish, 4-2. The winning pitcher was Castaneda, now 1-1. He tossed 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 2. Tyrell Pearce picked up the save, his 1st.
Christian Kenville, the 20-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Kenville contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Miramar up, 2-0.
"We've got a great group of guys," Castaneda said, "and we're having fun right now."
