The Mesa Saguaros soundly defeated the Flagstaff Blue Devils, 12-2, at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, with right fielder Alexander Crawford a major reason why. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for Mesa. Walt Frank, who is tied for 4th in the AZL with a 0.98 WHIP, was the winner. He's now 3-2. The loser was J.R. House.
