Timmy Stark powered the Kingman Torts to a win over the Flagstaff Blue Devils. The final score was 10-5. The Kingman catcher was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Picking up his 2nd save was 21-year old left-handed pitcher Rusbell Salinas. The Torts now have a record of 21-22 with the win over Flagstaff.

Kingman won the game in part because of Jason Romero. The shortstop ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Torts ahead, 6-4. For the game, Romero had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We knocked the fire out of the ball," said Kingman manager Elijah Lamay. "The guys swung the bats pretty good, and that's fun to see."
