Steers Jolt Pride, 5-2, with Late Rally
The Sedona Steers stopped the Peoria Pride, 5-2, behind an impressive performance from Reno Medina. The 21-year old catcher made life miserable for Peoria pitching. He went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Sedona reliever Reid Childress picked up the win, while Valério Haghio took the loss for Peoria. Earning his 4th save for Sedona was J.R. Vong.

Sedona took a 5-2 lead on Elliot Craig's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Craig hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Peoria pitcher Valério Haghio visibly frustrated.

"Wish we'd had more wins to celebrate like this one," said Medina.

Sedona is 16-35 and Peoria, with the loss, 30-21.
