Impalas Win Again, Streak Now at 13
Blake Hauge, who leads the AZL with a 1.01 WHIP, never let the Swordfish get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Impalas to a win, 6-0. Roldan Velarde earned the save, his 2nd. Now 38-14, the Impalas have won 13 games in a row.

The Impalas got a big hit from left fielder Klaus Nooijer. Facing Florence pitcher Renyel Vidal in the bottom of the fifth, Nooijer pounded a 2-run double to left-center. His 8th double of the season put the Impalas ahead, 3-0.

"That's what makes it fun -- everybody's jacked up because of the way we've been winning," said Tempe manager Aaron Lambert.
