Jameson Jones was superb against Sedona. The right-hander had a cutter that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Gnomes victory. The score was 4-3. At 27-28, the Gnomes are currently 4th in the Arizona Rookie League South Division.

Yuma used a clutch at-bat from Shaun Braxton to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Gnomes ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Jameson executed his pitches at a high level," said Yuma manager Ryan Guardado.
