The Kingman Torts easily defeated the Buckeye Quahogs, 18-4, at Surprise Stadium, with right fielder Fritz Gallardo a main contributor to the win. He was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 3 runs for Kingman. Pablo Balderas closed it out for his 1st save. Kingman currently is in last place in the Arizona Rookie League North Division at 24-35.

Robbie Gibson went 4 for 6 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Kingman. The 21-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring single off Juan Melo. It was his 44th hit of the season.
