Geddes Torches Roughnecks for 6 Hits
|
It was a big day for Cody Geddes and he brought the Sierra Vista Hummingbirds along for the ride.
Geddes led his club to victory, 27-7, over the Ahwatukee Roughnecks at Surprise Stadium, smoking Ahwatukee pitching for 6 hits in 8 at-bats. The 20-year-old catcher later called the victory "sweet."
