Another game, another loss for the struggling Ahwatukee Roughnecks.

The Tempe Impalas topped the Ahwatukee Roughnecks, 7-2, with second baseman Milt Resendez playing a big role. Resendez went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Impalas in the win. Ahwatukee is in the throes of a losing streak which has reached 9 games.

It could have been a different outcome for Tempe, had it not been for Kevin Ott, the 21-year old right fielder . Ott contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Tempe up, 3-1.
