Ranchers Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
The Chandler Ranchers outlasted the Yuma Gnomes, 5-3, in 10 innings. Ronnie Ardo provided some punch at the plate for Chandler. He was 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Josh Glick got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 2 innings. Chandler leads the Arizona Rookie League South Division by 2½ games.

Ardo had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 2-1 sinker from Donavan Thomas, he banged a 2-run home run to center, giving the Ranchers a 5-3 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Ardo.

"I'll play 10 innings, I'll play 20," said Ranchers manager Derick Fernandez. "Whatever it takes to win the ballgame."
