Glendale Beats Yuma in 12-Inning Thriller
The Glendale Gauchos in 12 innings beat the Yuma Gnomes, 2-1, at Tempe Diablo Stadium. Starting pitcher Wesley Berry was a major factor, holding his opponents in check all game. Glendale has a record of 40-27, placing them 4th in the Arizona Rookie League North Division.

Geronimo Turner came through with a big-time hit for Glendale. The first baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the 12th inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Yuma manager Ryan Guardado.
