With 6-3 Win, Buccaneers Improve to 22-14
|
Boca Raton pitcher Arthur Bitner did his part in helping his team beat the Pompano Beach Aqua Sox, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Boca Raton currently is in 4th place in the Florida Rookie League Southeast Division at 22-14.
The Buccaneers got a big hit from designated hitter Camilo Reyna. In the bottom of the fifth, Reyna pounded a 2-run home run to left-center. His 6th home run of the season put the Buccaneers ahead, 6-2.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Reyna. "And not try to do too much."
