Sun Dogs Need Extra Innings to Top Gauchos, 2-1
|
Glendale wasted a solid 6.1-inning effort from starting pitcher Kolton Fletcher, losing to Miramar, 2-1, at Roger Dean Stadium. The Sun Dogs now have a record of 25-13.
D.J. Storey gave Miramar a good at-bat in the bottom of the third inning. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he grounded out, driving in 1 run to help send Miramar to the win.
"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Sun Dogs manager Mike Jefferson.
