Peterson Rips 2 Homers in 14-7 Win
The Pompano Beach Aqua Sox defeated the Hialeah Gales, 14-7, at Champion Stadium. Pompano Beach third baseman Titus Peterson had a superb performance. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 7. Pompano Beach reliever Leonard Orozco picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Shaun Hines was tagged with the loss. The victory makes Pompano Beach 9-2, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2068.

Early in the game, designated hitter Theo Burch had a 2-run double for Pompano Beach. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Aqua Sox on top, 6-4.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Peterson told the Pompano Beach Observer.
