Fort Lauderdale Crafts 3-1 Win
Fort Lauderdale overcame a superior effort from Craig Browder to beat Hollywood, 3-1. The Hollywood pitcher threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball. Fort Lauderdale pitcher Humphrey Stead got the win. He's now 2-2. Oscar Batista was tagged with the loss. Ben Venable earned the save, his 6th.

Fort Lauderdale used the timely hitting of Oswald Martin to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Pirates on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Every loss hurts," said Hollywood manager Daryl Dixon. "But this was a tough one."

The loss makes Hollywood 11-8.
