Good production from center fielder Anto Dias helped the Yuma Gnomes topple the Boca Raton Buccaneers, 4-2. Dias was 2-3 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI for the Gnomes. Derek Agyeman, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save. The Gnomes improve their record to 21-25 with the win over Boca Raton.
Emmanuel Singleton, who is tied for 8th in the AZL in home runs with 9, aided the Yuma cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the designated hitter was 2 for 3 with 2 singles.
"We take it day by day here," said Singleton, "and today was a good one for us."
