Armstrong Top-Notch as Hurricanes Stop Fighting Shrimp, 1-0

The Daytona Beach Hurricanes received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Rob Armstrong, allowing them to bump off the Key Largo Fighting Shrimp, 1-0. The Hurricanes saw their win-loss record go to 12-11. At the same time, the Fighting Shrimp fell to 12-11.
Armstrong was the winner. He's now 3-3, after putting the Key Largo offense in a vise grip. Over 8 innings, he gave up no runs on 2 hits, while racking up 8 Ks.
"Rob can pitch. He moves the ball around," said Daytona Beach manager Bryce Guerra.
