The timely hitting of Yonder Alanis helped the Fort Myers Flamingos down the Coral Springs Manatees, 10-3. Alanis was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 for the Flamingos. R.C. Marcotte had a big 2-run double for the Flamingos in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Fort Myers trailing 3-2 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Braydon Dybdahl and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Flamingos ahead, 4-3.
