			Kumquats Win at Home, 7-3
		 |

The performance of Ed Inman proved critical in helping Kissimmee beat Fort Lauderdale, 7-3. The Kumquats second baseman went 1-2 with 2 walks and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 4 times. Kissimmee bumps their record to 17-20 with the win.
Rocky Swink had a big 2-run home run for the Kumquats in the bottom of the third inning. With Kissimmee trailing 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Michael Kilchenstein, who is tied for 5th in the FLA with a 9.8 K/9 rate, and punished it. The result was his 8th home run of the season, which put the Kumquats on top, 2-1.
"Good, blue-collar kind of win," said Kumquats manager Max Côté.
