Herons Rally to Win
The Pembroke Pines Herons topped the Kissimmee Kumquats, 4-3, in 15 innings at Bright House Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Pembroke Pines first baseman D.J. Sprenger. Pembroke Pines reliever Donald Johnson was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was R.C. Conway. Joshua Myers notched his 1st save of the season.

Pembroke Pines needed the clutch hitting of Andy McGee to seal the deal. The catcher swatted a solo home run in the top of the 15th inning to put the Herons on top, 4-3. For the game, McGee had 1 home run and 1 single in 7 at-bats.

"We had a chance to win," said Kissimmee manager Max Côté, "but we didn't get it done."

Pembroke Pines now has a record of 24-14 with the win.
