The Hialeah Gales and starting pitcher Ezra Walsh stifled the Key Largo offense en route to a comfortable 8-1 win at Space Coast Stadium. The Gales bumped their record to 25-18 with this latest triumph.

Waldo Walker had a big grand slam home run for the Gales in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Hialeah leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he sized up a sinker from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Ralph Jachimowicz and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Gales on top, 6-1.

"I managed to get ahead of guys and keep them at bay," said Walsh.
