Sun Dogs 3-2 Victors Over Spoonbills
|
Starting pitcher Archie Chisholm took care of business, helping the Miramar Sun Dogs stifle the Hollywood Spoonbills, 3-2. Miramar sits in last place in the Florida Rookie League Southeast Division at 15-31.
Miramar used a well-timed hit by Ethan Williamson to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Sun Dogs ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"You have to win 1-0, 3-2, 2-1 games if you want to get to where you want to go," said Sun Dogs manager Gabriƫl de Koning.
