Noah Levine knocked in 5 runs to help Sanibel beat Fort Myers, 7-2. Levine produced 2 singles and 1 home run. Woody Brandon picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-2. John Hoff, who is tied for 10th in the FLA in strikeouts with 48, was tagged with the loss. The Sailors, at 23-20, sit in 5th place in the Florida Rookie League Northwest Division.

Levine contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Sanibel in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Levine took a sinker from John Hoff and stroked the home run to left. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Sailors to leap in front, 3-1.

"They had a good approach," Fort Myers skipper Benjamino Parez said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."
