Aqua Sox Capture 5-4 Win at JetBlue Park
The Pompano Beach Aqua Sox defeated the Fort Myers Flamingos, 5-4, in Florida Rookie League action at JetBlue Park. Pompano Beach pitcher Eric Thomas had a standout performance. Randy Morris sewed up the save, his 3rd. The 5th-place Aqua Sox now have a win-loss record of 22-21.

Finn Delgado was 1-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Pompano Beach. The 19-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off C.J. Timmer. It was his 44th RBI of the season.

"Both teams played hard," said Pompano Beach manager Nathanael Harrison.
