Anderson Goes Off, But Knights Win
Toledo first baseman Hudson Anderson pounded Charlotte Knights pitchers at Fifth Third Field, but it was not enough to keep the Mud Hens from falling, 12-11. Anderson belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. With the win, Charlotte lifts its record to 2-1.

Charlotte used the clutch hitting of Elijah Plott to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Knights the lead, 10-9. For the game, Plott had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Charlotte manager Zhu Yu.
