Jackson Nabs PCL #1 Pitcher Award

The best pitcher this past month in the Pacific Coast League was K.J. Jackson of the Reno Aces. He really razzle-dazzled league hitters, finishing June with a standout 5-1 record and 1.05 ERA.
The Aces hurler made 6 starts and surrendered 31 hits in 42.2 innings. He struck out 38 and walked 9.
This year Jackson has compiled a 5-1 mark with a 1.05 ERA.

Reliever Sprout June's Pitcher of the Month
Monday, July 1st , 2052
Marty Sprout had a super June and has been rewarded with the International League Pitcher of the Month Award. The Scranton relief specialist was very effective, constantly coming in and getting his club out of trouble or protecting a one-run or two-run lead.
the Scranton bullpen ace starred with no saves in no relief appearances, logging 40 innings, 31 strikeouts, 5 walks and a 1.12 ERA. Sprout finished the month with 4 wins and no losses -- and was named the league's top pitcher.
So far this year Sprout has been credited with no saves, registered a 2.11 ERA and struck out 87 in 102.1 innings. He also has a 8-3 record.
