Bulls Heading to AAA Championship Series

Coca-Cola Field played host to the climax of an exciting Regional Championship Series tonight.
The Durham Bulls and Buffalo Bisons battled hard throughout the whole series, for the chance to move on to the AAA Championship Series.
In the end, Durham won the final game by a score of 6-2 and took the series 4-3.
"I think fans got their money's worth in this series. It was just great baseball all the way around," said Bulls reliever Emmanuel Waas, who earned the nod as series MVP. "Durham fans especially, I'm sure they're all worked up right now."
For the series, Waas had a 0.00 ERA over 5.1 innings pitched. He added 4 strikeouts with a 2-0 record.

Triplets Advance to AAA Championship Series

The Evansville Triplets and New Orleans Baby Cakes hooked up in a classic Regional Championship Series that went right down to the wire.
In the end, it's Evansville heading off to the AAA Championship Series, after a 8-5 win at BB&T Stadium tonight earned the 4-3 series win.
Outside BB&T Stadium, whether they were supporters of Evansville or New Orleans, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget.
John Morton played the hero for the Triplets in the series, as his MVP performance included a .321 batting average, with a .387 on-base percentage. He also had 3 home runs, 7 RBI and scored 6 runs.
