Bisons Absorb 7-3 Home Loss
|
Henry Good was a major factor in the 7-3 Rochester win over Buffalo. The Norsemen first baseman was 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Picking up the win was Edward Kinnard. He went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits. The left--hander struck out 5 and walked 2. The Norsemen improved to 49-58.
Rochester right fielder Alex Graham contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a changeup to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 106th hit of the season and put the Norsemen ahead, 1-0.
Graham said afterward that "winning, obviously, is the main objective."
