Red Sox Knock Off Tides at Harbor Park
|
The Pawtucket Red Sox beat the Norfolk Tides, 3-0, at Harbor Park. Starting pitcher Owen Holiday was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Steven Minckler recorded the save, his 1st. Pawtucket is now 3-4.
Jeffry Patlan, the 20-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Patlan contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Pawtucket up, 2-0.
Patlan attributed the win to his team's "hyper resolve."
