Louisville Loses, 8-7, in 10
|
Behind a fine performance from Michael Huttner, the Birmingham Barons knocked off the Louisville Bats in 10 innings, 8-7. Huttner went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Barons. Birmingham reliever Noah Tsuji picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Aryan Donovan took the loss. Birmingham has a record of 3-2.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Huttner hit a fastball from Broderick Murillo for a run-scoring single. The Barons, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"Put a star next to this win," Huttner said.
