Buffalo pitcher Lucas Soileau had a large part in his team beating the Syracuse Chiefs, 6-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Soileau, now 1-1, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Losses have been few and far between for the Chiefs, who are now 16-2.

It could have been a different outcome for Buffalo, had it not been for Wyatt Moore, the 22-year old second baseman . Moore contributed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put Buffalo up, 2-0.
