Sexton Now 3-1 After Subduing Dundies
|
Ottawa beat Scranton on the strength of starter Christopher Sexton's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 2-0. The Oddballs, now 18-7, have been red hot.
Sexton's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 6 strikeouts in 7.1 innings while allowing 2 hits. Sexton goes to 3-1 on the year with 19 strikeouts.
"We didn't score," said losing manager Dustin Bartholomew. "That was the problem."
