Big Day for Porfilio in 8-0 Oddballs Win
Behind a solid performance from right fielder Dwaine Porfilio, the Ottawa Oddballs defeated the Scranton Dundies, 8-0. Porfilio went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Oddballs. Stan Harris earned the save, his 2nd. The Oddballs, now 19-8, have been sizzling early on.

With Ottawa leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Porfilio hit a sinker from Lysander Petty for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Oddballs ahead, 3-0.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Dave Hicks said.
