Alexas Freund pitched well, but the Buffalo Bisons still lost the game, falling, 4-3, to the Wilkes-Barre Barons at Coca-Cola Park. Walt Schonlebe earned the save for Wilkes-Barre, his 8th. Today's win puts Wilkes-Barre at 15-19, while Buffalo falls to 19-15.

In the bottom of the fifth, Jesse Harrison delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the Wilkes-Barre center fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Barons in front, 4-3.

After the game, Wilkes-Barre manager Hector Vidal applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
