Norsemen Snatch Late Win
The Rochester Norsemen weathered a fine game by Birmingham catcher Brenden Fletcher to upend the Barons, 9-6, at Raley Field. Fletcher went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Jon Colbeth recorded the save for Rochester, his 5th of the season. The Norsemen sit in 4th place in the International League Northeast Division with a record of 19-16.

Rochester used a clutch hit from Sylvester Cotter to get the win. The second baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Norsemen ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Cotter.
