|
The Wilkes-Barre Barons overcame a good performance by Gwinnett right fielder Rodrigo Ortiz to knock off Gwinnett, 8-4, at Coca-Cola Park. Ortiz was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. The save was credited to Everett Short, his 1st. Wilkes-Barre currently is in 4th place in the International League Northeast Division at 20-16.
