Toledo Beats Orlando, 4-1
|
Lann Orange pitched a gem to lead Toledo to victory over the Orlando Wizards, 4-1. Orange picked up the win for Toledo, going 7.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. Toledo sits in 6th place in the International League Southwest Division at 19-20.
In the bottom of the ninth, Julien Castillo stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Wizards were trailing 4-1, but had the bases loaded. That's when Tray Cheng made a terrific pitch and Castillo lined out. Gone was the dream of a Orlando comeback.
