Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Lucas Monroe, who is tied for 2nd in the IL in extra base hits with 19, the Pawtucket Red Sox defeated the Ottawa Oddballs, 6-1. The Red Sox go to 20-23, putting them 8th in the International League Northeast Division.

Matías Sala aided the Pawtucket cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the catcher went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk.

"It's good to win," Sala told the Pawtucket Gazette. "I like to have fun doing it."
