The Charlotte Knights dealt the Syracuse Chiefs a loss at Hustlers Stadium. The final score was 9-0. John LaBelle was especially productive for Charlotte. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 triple, he scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Micah Chisholm notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0.

With Charlotte leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, LaBelle hit a sinker from Simeon Leal for a 2-run triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Knights ahead, 4-0.

"Enjoyed this one," LaBelle told the Charlotte Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
