Dundies Drop Bats, 10-3
|
Led by Jonathan Porter, the Scranton Dundies downed the Louisville Bats, 10-3, in 10 innings. Porter was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Dundies. The win for the Dundies lifted their record to 25-20.
Scranton used the timely hitting of Max Stallings to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Dundies on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Stallings.
