Pawtucket Beats Orlando, 4-2
|
Pawtucket Red Sox starter Richard Badger was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Orlando Wizards, 4-2. Today's win puts Pawtucket at 24-26, while Orlando falls to 28-22.
In the top of the sixth, Pawtucket first baseman Mason Morrison put his team on top. With two out and a runner on 1st, he hit his 2nd home run of the year. Orlando pitcher Zach Martin served it up. Just like that, the Red Sox were ahead, 2-1.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Pawtucket manager Daniel Holcombe.
