The Columbus Clippers beat the Newark Bears, 8-5, at Huntington Park. Columbus first baseman Parker Mola had an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs. Joham Dosal recorded his 15th save for Columbus. Columbus now has a 3-game win streak.
