In a low-scoring tilt between the Newark Bears and the Charlotte Knights, Tae-Yeong Lee, who is tied for 8th in the IL in wins with 5, was the difference-maker. The Newark left-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win in 11 innings. The Bears now have a record of 28-29.

The decisive blow was delivered by Daniel López in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old left-handed pitcher Todd Rubio to win the game for Newark. The home crowd went nuts.

"This team is capable of getting on a roll," said Newark skipper Shark McGee.
