Morvant goes 4-for-4, Ignites Buffalo Offense
Getting offensive support from Seth Morvant, the Buffalo Bisons topped the Maine Grizzlies, 4-1. Morvant went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Bisons. Skip Schott Jr. went 6.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits. The right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the IL with a 7.8 K/9 rate, struck out 4 and walked 1. With the win, he's now 4-4 this season. Ryland Warren collected save number 2.

Morvant had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-1 changeup from Karl Marsolek, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Bisons a 3-1 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Morvant.

"The key is not trying to do too much," said Morvant.

Buffalo now sports a record of 37-27.
